I'm a storyteller who happens to use a camera

Hi! John Cruice. 

My path into photography is pretty winding. I have bachelors degrees in Business (with a concentration in Marketing) and Architecture. What both of those disciplines share is a need to convey a story to someone else. 

I've always been naturally curious about the world around me. When I decided I was done with formal school, I picked up a camera and explores the beauty surrounding us all - eventually photographing people.

I start creating portraits to challenge myself creatively. I made it a career because of the people I met. Every person has a unique story and something to teach. We all have little things that make us special and I love getting the opportunity to create portraits celebrating those little things. Everyone has a story worth telling and it would be wonderful to learn yours.
